Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists work with patients to develop customized treatment plans that may include exercises, stretches, manual therapy, electrotherapy, IMS, medical acupuncture, or other techniques aimed at improving function and reducing pain. Our therapists take pride in providing personalized one-on-one treatment plans based on their patients’ needs. Taking this extra time plays an important role in preventing further injuries by identifying potential issues before they become more serious. Our physiotherapists also include education on injury prevention and management in their treatment plans. By teaching patients how to avoid common injuries and providing strategies for managing pain and discomfort, they help patients maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while reducing their risk of future injuries. This may involve discussing proper posture or body mechanics during daily activities, recommending specific exercises to improve strength and flexibility, or providing guidance on the use of braces or other support devices. Whether you are recovering from an injury or looking for ways to manage chronic pain, physiotherapy can help you regain your mobility and improve your quality of life.
Registered Massage Therapy
A registered massage therapist has completed specialized training in anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to massage therapy practice. During an RMT session, the therapist will manipulate your body tissues through different massage techniques like myofascial release or deep tissue manipulation to alleviate muscle tension and promote relaxation. As part of their scope of practice, RMTs can assess and treat problems related to muscles and joints, perform orthopedic testing, and create personalized treatment plans based on individual needs. Overall, choosing an RMT could be a beneficial addition to your wellness plan when it comes to pain relief, recovering from minor injuries, and reducing stress levels!
Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those affecting the spine. Chiropractors may use spinal manipulation and manual therapies (Cupping therapy, IASTM, and other STT techniques) to help alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall physical performance. If you’re experiencing pain or discomfort related to muscle or joint problems - especially in the back or neck - consulting with a licensed chiropractor could be an effective way to find relief without resorting solely to prescription medication or surgery.
Naturopathic Medicine
It’s all about finding and treating the real reasons you’re sick, not just the symptoms. Naturopathic doctors look at your whole health - your body, mind, and emotions and use natural treatments like herbs, nutrition, and lifestyle advice to help your body heal itself. Naturopathic medicine is a special kind of healthcare that combines traditional healing methods with modern science.

Active Rehab (Kinesiology)
Kinesiology is the study of human movement and how it relates to our overall health and well-being. As patients, understanding kinesiology can be incredibly useful in managing or preventing injuries, improving athletic performance, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Kinesiologists use their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology, and neuroscience to evaluate movement patterns and help individuals improve their physical function. They work with patients to identify areas of weakness or dysfunction that may be contributing to pain or limited mobility. By providing education and using various therapeutic techniques such as exercise prescription, manual therapy, or modalities like heat/ice/electrotherapy they can work with patients who are recovering from an injury/surgery or have chronic conditions such as back pain/arthritis/scoliosis /stroke, etc., aiming at restoring/improving functional ability.
Student Body Work
Student Body Workers are massage providers who are currently students in training to become Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) and are not yet registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. These individuals are gaining practical experience as part of their education. Student Body Workers offer relaxation and/or deep tissue massages using a variety of techniques. Body Work massage is a great option if you don’t have extended health benefits or have used them up, as these treatments are typically offered at a reduced rate compared to RMT appointments.
Graduate Body Work
Graduate Body Workers are massage providers who have successfully completed their training and passed their board exams, and are currently awaiting licensure with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. While they are not yet registered RMTs, they offer relaxation and/or deep tissue massages using a variety of techniques. Body Work massage is an excellent option if you don’t have extended health benefits or have used them up, as these sessions are typically offered at a lower rate than RMT appointments.
